All Entries Must Be Submitted Online
To submit an entry, register first with the CMAs. Complete one entry form for each project you are submitting. Select the category best aligned to your project submission. Want to enter the same project in multiple categories? Duplicate the entry form and submit into multiple categories.
How To Prepare Your Entries
We want to hear the success and details of the content marketing program you developed. Review the categories and select the best category to show the judges the in-depth insights into your success!
Use the information below to properly prepare your entries for judging.
For Print Categories:
- Complete the online entry form.
- Explain the strategy, audience, goals, and performance in a summary.
- Attach files and link URLs to complete your entry. Remember to include any passwords needed to view documents.
- Is your print entry viewable through a PDF file or URL link? Be sure to attach to the entry.
- Only have a physical copy of a print category entry? The judges need to see them, so mail three (3) identical samples for each print category the project is submitted into.
- Each entry receives a confirmation email.
- Are you sending in a physical copy? Please print the confirmation email and attach it to the back of each sample.
- Entries are considered PENDING until all samples are reviewed and marked received.

For All Other Categories:

Entry Rules
Eligibility
The awards program is open to all agencies, companies, organizations, and institutions involved in producing content marketing, in print or digital form, for internal or external audiences, but not those created by Content Marketing Institute, Informa, or any Content Marketing Awards sponsors. Entries may originate from any country.
Entries must have been created in the calendar year 2022 to qualify for the 2023 awards. If entries were created in 2021 but not “published” or distributed until 2022, they still qualify.
Judging Procedure
Judges are chosen on the basis of their experience in the field of content marketing and their ability to fairly evaluate the entries. Each entry will be judged on how well it fulfills its goal or mission and on the quality of the product, including editorial and design.
Entry Fees
Each Entry may be submitted to one or multiple categories. There is a fee for each category entered.
Early bird entrants pay $199 per entry. Any project submitted after April 16, 2023, pays $260 per entry. If submitted after May 21, 2023, entries will require the late entry fee of $299 per entry. The Late Entry deadline is May 26, 2023, entries will close at 11:59 pm EDT.
Content Marketing Project of the Year
All entries will be eligible for the Content Marketing Awards Project of the Year, which will be announced at Content Marketing World 2023.
Branded Content Campaign of the Year
All Branded Content Campaign entries submitted to strategy categories 22 & 23 will be eligible for the 2023 Branded Content Campaign of the Year, which will be announced at Content Marketing World 2023.
Agency of the Year
If you would like to be considered for the Content Marketing Awards Agency of the Year, or would like to nominate an agency for this award, there will be an additional $260 entry fee. If submitted after May 21, 2023, nominations will require the late fee of $299.

Entries are considered Pending until payment is made in full.

No Refunds
Return of Materials
All entries submitted to the awards program become the property of the Content Marketing Awards and may be used for promotional purposes. Entries will not be returned. Do not send original artwork.
Deadline
All entries must be submitted by the final, late entry deadline of May 26, 2023. Shipping by UPS, FedEx and other parcel services must also carry the same date.
Shipping
Mailing/shipping costs and handling fees are at the entrant’s expense.
International Entries – We suggest you send your material either by airmail or a courier service that will deliver directly to the address listed. To expedite your package through customs, please affix a label or use bold lettering to mark the outside of the package with “Contest Material. No Commercial Value.”
